Using a Courier:
All our prices on our web site for a courier service are UK mainland only*. Please contact us for prices for other areas & remote locations. *(A price guide is below for outside the UK mainland & remote locations, please read for remote areas before ordering) On the day of dispatch from our premises you will receive a confirmation of dispatch, if we send via DPD courier they will then also email you to say the parcel is with them and give you a tracking number so you can either change the delivery day if not suitable. Delivery is normally next working day, if sent via DPD they will be able to give you a time slot on the day of delivery this will be sent to you direct from DPD via email only.
However due to unforeseen circumstances occasionally deliveries can take more than one day. (We cannot guarantee next day delivery however 95% of the parcels do arrive the next day) If you would like to have a guaranteed delivery or Saturday delivery, there may be and extra charge, please telephone us prior to ordering to enquire.
All courier deliveries need to be signed for. If you are not in, a card will be left for you to contact your local DPD depot to arrange an alternative delivery day (2 attempts will be made, if the parcel has to be returned to us due to no one in, there will be an additional shipping charge to re-send the parcel back out to you).
Using a Specialist Couriers (Large Toy Boxes & Heavy Furniture Products):
As soon as your Item is ready we will make contact by email to advise you it is ready to leave our premises. As soon as the Specialist Couriers have collected your order, they will contact you by telephone direct to arrange a suitable day to deliver (They usually contact you within 48hours after they have collected the box from Picture Proud). As this is a large and heavy item we will only ever deliver when we know someone is going to be in to take receipt. This item has to be signed for & opened upon delivery.
Using Royal Mail:
Deliveries made via Royal Mail will have no tracking number; all we have is just a copy of proof of postage. When an item has not been delivered or is delayed, Royal Mail will not give us any information for 14 days from date of dispatch, which means we cannot give you any information other than that we have posted it and the date of dispatch and apologize it hasn't arrived. It is very rare that an item does not arrive, but sometimes they take a little longer than one hoped especially at seasonal times & they do eventually turn up. We do have a "Proof of postage" from Royal mail but this cannot be tracked. If you would like to track your item on smaller products then we would suggest using the courier service, at an additional charge, as Picture Proud cannot chase an order or replace an item for 14 days from the day of dispatch with Royal Mail.
Please note sometimes if a parcel has not arrived it may be due to a letterbox not being big enough, so we have found that your local depot has got it, but not left a card to alert you to this, we would always advise you to contact them and say you have not received a small packet and do they have! Nine times out of Ten we have found them to be at your local depot.
Turn around Times:
*Delivery turnaround times can vary depending on the item ordered and available stock. For bespoke handmade items and seasonal times, delivery can be approximate 4 weeks however if a specific date required then on placement of your order let us know and we will always try and meet this for you.
Most of our products have bespoke packaging made to ensure they arrive without damage when sent via a standard courier company, so our delivery costs include the packaging. We do not make any money on packaging & delivery costs via our courier. Each customer’s order will have a delivery charge based on the size & weight of a product and how many items for the one delivery address. This is a guide

Bedroom Furniture & Suites:
Delivery of your Bedroom furniture will be to the ground floor of your property. You will need a capable person there to assist in the lifting of the heavier items from the van to your door (e.g. Wardrobe) as this is a one person delivery service. If you would like to have 2 person delivery service and the item delivered to the bedroom, please contact us prior to ordering so we can understand your requirements and give you a quote.

Some smaller items can go via Royal Mail. We will always find you the cheapest method & only charge you what we get charged. We do not make any money from our packaging & delivery costs.
